Back to reality. It’s always hard to go back to work after a vacation. But the good news is my airplane is back in service and what a blessing it is. I took an assignment in Sierra Vista a 5-6 hour drive one way or a 3 hour flight round trip, thank goodness that I am back in the air. The Sierra Vista airport is a municipal airport and a Military base all in one airport. It’s kind of crazy to be flying in to an airport with military aircraft all over. When I was doing my run up and check list before my departure back to Taylor, I saw this crazy looking aircraft coming in to land. It is called a Predator an unmanned spy plane. I was amazed how big they are.

Grounded

For the past couple weeks my airplane has been in the Shop for its annual check-up. Along with an extensive fuel tank repair. (Not a cheap or quick fix). So I had to drive to Kingman it’s a killer drive. I did however; find a cool old building on my way home. Also I have been experimenting with a digital photography method called “Tone Mapping” So I tried it out on this old building. The photo was taken off of the Jackrabbit exit along I-40. Enjoy the photo.
